According to World Meteorological Organization (WMO) six of the warmest years ever recorded have all been years since 2015 with 2020, tied with 2016, being the hottest ever. One among the major sectors, Transportation contributes close to 11% of overall GHG emissions with heavy-duty commercial vehicles alone constituting close to 71% of the transportation emissions.

74% of vehicle particulate emissions in India come from Heavy-duty vehicle. A study from the Centre for Science and Environment finds that during the pandemic lockdown in March-April 2020 in Delhi-NCR, one of the major factors that led to the drop in pollution was a 97% reduction in overall traffic and 91% reduction in trucks and commercial vehicles entering the region.

Over the years, as a second time entrepreneur he has had significant experience in leading startups in India. Raghavendra has completed his Masters in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras with research focus on electrochemistry and solar cells.

Ramesh Kumar VG

Ramesh Kumar comes with over 35 years of experience in leading engineering teams, signaling and telecom teams in public transportation space. He has held leadership positions in Ansaldo STS, Thales as well as has been Executive Director at Ministry of Railways. He has the experience of working and developing and testing of Safety critical systems compliant to Cenelec standards of SIL (Safety Integrity Levels). Ramesh Kumar has B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IIT Madras.

Ennarasu Karunesan

A Global Maritime Transport, Ports and Logistics Expert, Ennarasu has previously served as CEO for Adani Mundra and Tuna Ports, largest Port and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the country. Prior to this he has served as CEO for Chennai Container Terminal (A DP World Managed Terminal) as well as CEO of Westport, Malaysia’s premier Container Port. He is Mechanical Engineering Graduate and holds a Master’s Degree in Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
